Fiber optic cable installation and splicing

Fiber Optic Backbone

Single-mode and multi-mode fiber for high-bandwidth backbone runs between IDF/MDF rooms, buildings, and campuses. Fusion spliced and OTDR tested.

Organized network rack and server room cable management

Rack & MDF/IDF Buildouts

Organized, labeled, and documented rack installations with proper cable management, patch panels, and power distribution — built for long-term maintainability.

Wireless access point installation in commercial office

Wireless Infrastructure

Enterprise WAP deployment with proper cable drops, mounting, and PoE switch configuration for seamless wireless coverage across your entire facility.

Network cable testing and certification with Fluke equipment

Fluke Certification & Testing

Every cable run is tested and certified with Fluke DSX equipment. You receive a full test report for every link — required for manufacturer warranties and compliance.

Why It Matters

The Foundation of Every
Security & IT System

Supports All Systems

Your IP cameras, access control readers, intercoms, and IT network all run on the same cabling infrastructure. Poor cabling causes failures across every system.

Warranty & Compliance

Manufacturer warranties on cameras, switches, and access control hardware require certified cabling. We deliver the documentation to protect your investment.

Scalable for Growth

A properly designed cabling plant supports future expansion without costly re-runs. We design for where your business is going, not just where it is today.

FAQ

Structured Cabling FAQs

CAT6 supports 10 Gbps up to 55 meters and is suitable for most commercial office environments. CAT6A supports 10 Gbps up to 100 meters and is recommended for data centers, healthcare facilities, and buildings where future bandwidth demands are uncertain. PSS recommends CAT6A for all new commercial installations in Miami — the marginal cost difference is small compared to the cost of re-cabling later.
